Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is for anyone looking to improve their health from the inside out. Whether you’re dealing with pain, recovering from an injury, navigating pregnancy, or simply wanting to maintain optimal wellness, we can assess your needs and determine if our care model is a good fit.

No referral is needed. You can schedule directly with our office at any time.

We care for patients of all ages—from newborns just days old to seniors well into their 90s. Our care is always tailored to the individual, taking into account age, health status, and goals.

Yes, chiropractic care during pregnancy is both safe and highly beneficial. It supports pelvic alignment, reduces discomfort, and can help promote a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery process.

This will vary depending on your specific situation, but in most cases, both moms and babies can begin chiropractic care within just a few days of birth, as long as there are no medical complications. Dr. Libby will assess you and your baby’s needs to determine the most appropriate timing to begin care.

Dr. Libby is trained in a variety of chiropractic techniques, including manual adjustments, Activator® Method, and Webster Technique. Each patient is unique, so your care is always tailored to your individual needs, goals, and comfort level. During your assessment, Dr. Libby will determine which technique—or combination of techniques—is the best fit to provide the safest, most effective care possible.

Dr. Libby is PX Certified through The Pediatric Experience, an advanced postdoctoral training focused on pediatric, prenatal, and family care. This means he’s trained to recognize and address the unique needs of children and pregnant women, especially in neurologically-focused chiropractic care.

Your initial appointment typically lasts between 40 minutes to an hour, depending on your individual needs and what’s being covered that day. This visit includes time for a consultation, scans, and any necessary assessments. Follow-up visits are shorter. Progress visits usually take about 25 to 35 minutes, while regular adjustment visits without scans are typically 15 minutes or less.

We recommend wearing comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. This helps ensure full mobility during your evaluation and adjustment, especially if scans or movement-based assessments are part of your visit.

We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, we ask for as much notice as possible. Missed visits can affect your progress, so we’ll work with you to find another time as soon as possible.

We use INSiGHT scanning technology to assess the function of your spine and nervous system. These scans are completely non-invasive, painless, and usually take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. They help us identify areas of stress, imbalance, or dysfunction that might not be detectable through physical exams or X-rays alone.

Neurologically-focused chiropractic care doesn’t just look at bones and joints—it assesses how the nervous system is functioning. By using INSiGHT scans and other tools, we aim to restore balance to the brain-body connection, helping your body adapt and heal more effectively.

Visit frequency depends on your goals and clinical findings. Someone seeking relief from a recent injury may benefit from more frequent visits, while someone looking to maintain general wellness might come in less often. After reviewing your scans, health history, and completing a thorough physical evaluation, Dr. Libby will provide a care plan that outlines his clinical recommendations specific to your needs.

Our office operates on a cash-based model and is out-of-network with all insurance providers. This allows us to offer care based on your specific needs, rather than the limitations set by insurance companies. Many insurance plans only cover treatment for acute injuries or recent accidents and do not support wellness or preventative care, which are essential to our approach. However, we do submit claims to Medicare on your behalf on a quarterly basis. Medicare will then determine the amount of reimbursement you may receive.

We love seeing families and do offer special pricing options for multiple family members under care. Contact our office for more details about family-friendly plans.

We accept all major credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and cash payments. Payment is due at the time of service unless a plan has been set up in advance.

Shockwave

Yes. Focused shockwave therapy is a non-invasive, evidence-based treatment that has been widely used in orthopedic and sports medicine settings for many years. When performed by a trained provider and after a proper evaluation, it is considered very safe. Treatments are delivered precisely to the targeted tissue without damaging surrounding healthy structures.

Most patients tolerate treatment very well. You may feel brief discomfort in areas that are inflamed or chronically irritated, but the intensity can be adjusted to remain both effective and comfortable. Any soreness afterward is typically mild and similar to post-workout soreness, resolving within 24 to 48 hours.

Focused shockwave therapy is especially effective for chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis or golfer’s elbow, shoulder tendon injuries, patellar tendinopathy, hip bursitis, and stubborn muscle trigger points. It is often recommended for injuries that have not responded to rest, stretching, injections, or other conservative treatments.

Many patients notice improvement within the first one to three treatments. Because shockwave therapy stimulates your body’s natural healing response, results often continue to build between visits. Chronic or long-standing conditions may take several sessions before significant improvement is felt.

Most sessions last approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the area being treated and the condition being addressed. Treatments are efficient and designed to stimulate healing without requiring lengthy appointments.

Focused shockwave therapy is very well tolerated. The most common side effects are mild and temporary, including localized soreness, redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treated area. Occasionally, minor bruising may occur. These effects typically resolve within a few days and are part of the body’s natural healing response.

In many cases, yes. However, this typically requires two separate treatment sessions, one focused on each area. This approach remains safe and effective, and allows us to deliver the appropriate energy to each region without compromising results. Treating multiple areas close together may slightly limit your ability to clearly recognize progress at one specific site, which is why we often recommend addressing them individually when possible.

Shockwave therapy may not be appropriate for individuals who are pregnant in the treatment area, have active infections or open wounds, blood clotting disorders, certain vascular conditions, or tumors in the region being treated.

There is little to no downtime. Most patients return to normal daily activities immediately after treatment. We may recommend temporarily reducing high-impact or strenuous activity for a short period to allow the tissue to respond optimally.

Yes, in many cases it can. Shockwave therapy is often used for persistent pain that remains after injections or even surgery. By stimulating blood flow, cellular activity, and tissue regeneration, it can help restart the healing process in areas that have stalled.

No. Focused shockwave therapy delivers energy to a precise depth within the tissue, allowing for accurate targeting of deeper structures. Radial or pressure wave devices disperse energy more superficially. This difference is important when treating chronic tendon injuries or deeper joint conditions where precision matters.
